Position

Marinda specialises in project development and environmental and planning law, including environmental law and nature conservation law aspects. She regularly assists developers and public authorities in negotiations on area and project developments, and drafts or reviews the related contracts. Marinda advises initiators (permit holders) and public authorities and litigates on their behalf on all aspects of environmental and planning law, including environmental law and nature conservation law. As part of her practice, she also advises clients in the aforementioned fields on due diligence matters relating to mergers and acquisitions. She is also an experienced practitioner in matters relating to the Open Government Act (Wet open overheid), the successor to the Government Information (Public Access) Act (Wob).

Education

Marinda graduated with a Master’s in economic geography in 1998 from Utrecht University, completing her studies with a Master’s in public and business law from the same university in 2001.
