Steffen is partner in Van Doorne’s Corporate / M&A team and an expert in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and buy-out transactions and management participations. Steffen is furthermore specialized in the field of corporate real estate M&A, providing expert counsel on commercial property (portfolio) transactions structured through share transactions of real estate entities and/or controlled auction sale processes.

Steffen advises Dutch and foreign companies, private equity funds and other investors, real estate investors as well as management teams in international and national transactions, mainly with deal values in the mid-market segment.

Steffen received his Dutch law degree from the University of Amsterdam, and has worked at Van Doorne since 2006. He also received a postgraduate degree in corporate law (with cum laude distinction) from Grotius Academy.
