She also advises on the acquisition and sale of credit portfolios (commercial, ‘bad bank’) and restructuring solutions for property loans. Angelique is a highly experienced specialist in Dutch and cross-border secured financing transactions. Angelique acts for Dutch and foreign banks and other financial institutions, (special) servicers, investors and large and medium sized companies as a legal advisor, negotiator and transaction manager on domestic and cross-border finance transactions, with an emphasis on property and project financing transactions (syndicated and clubloans, CMBS, restructurings, sell-downs, loan portfolio sales). Angelique has a PhD in Dutch, English and German banking law.

Anneloes works in the Finance team. She advises lenders and borrowers in cross-border and domestic financing transactions, including project finance, acquisition finance and corporate lending. She also advises clients on  (financial) restructurings and matters of insolvency law. Anneloes previously worked for the State Advocate in tax matters. Her work involved, for example, tax collection law and attachment and enforcement law, and she litigated on behalf of the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Administration in the area of collecting tax debts. In 2018 Anneloes completed the post-graduate Grotius specialists’ course Financing & Security cum laude. She studied at Utrecht University, where she graduated cum laude in 2011.

Annemieke (LLM UCL) heads Van Doorne's Insurance team. She works in Van Doorne's offices in Amsterdam and London. Annemieke is an expert on insurance law and Directors & Officers liability. Annemieke handles disputes on behalf of and between insurers. She advises on coverage and is an experienced litigator in coverage disputes. Her clients often instruct Annemieke and her team in  complex and cross-border cases. She frequently represents primary and/or excess layers in (cross-border) discussions between the different layers of an insurance tower and/or different programs. She mainly focusses on general liability, D&O liability, professional liability, fraud and cyber insurance. Annemieke also frequently acts as monitoring counsel at the request of insurers to liaise between defence counsel of different insureds, to get the best result for all insureds in cases of (potential) conflicting interests between insureds. In addition, insurers instruct Annemieke as defence counsel for D&O's of companies and non-profit organisations, including housing corporations and healthcare institutions, in national and international disputes. Annemieke frequently publishes and lectures on the subject of D&O liability and insurance. She is a member of the editorial team of the online publication "VAST” (magazine for insurance and liability law, including regulatory law).

He allocates much of his time to large IT and business process outsourcings which often stretch over multiple countries and jurisdictions. His work covers a broad spectrum, ranging from negotiating and drafting outsourcing agreements, software development agreements, software licences, implementation and SaaS agreements, to handling software license and compliance issues and IT-related disputes. He also has experience in setting up joint development, mutually integrated production, and joint marketing arrangements. Bart’s primary focus is structuring effective business relations. Bart has worked for more than half of the larger Netherlands based multinationals, including most of the larger Netherlands based banks and insurance companies. Bas van Zelst is a partner in Van Doorne’s arbitration practice. Bas has extensive experience in conducting and advising on national and international commercial arbitration and related proceedings before the regular courts. He has particular expertise in advising on, and conducting proceedings relating to, distribution agreements and a particular interest in (cross-border) seizure and enforcement proceedings. In the past, Bas was involved in (advising on) arbitration procedures under the ICC, NAI, LCIA, UNCITRAL and DIS arbitration rules. Further to his arbitration practice, Bas holds the Chair of Dispute Resolution & Arbitration at Maastricht University. His research focuses on cross-border conflict resolution with particular emphasis on arbitration.

Daan has represented leading corporations and multinationals in both jurisdictional and multi-jurisdictional complex commercial litigation and class actions and has advised a broad spectrum of clients on all kind of liability issues. He has been involved as lead counsel in numerous landmark litigation cases in the Netherlands. Daan also serves as a deputy judge in the District Court of Noord-Holland and regularly lectures and publishes on liability, contract law, procedural law and mass claims. In addition, Jasper successfully completed (cum laude) the Corporate Litigation postgraduate programme at Grotius Academy. Neyah specialises in criminal defense and investigations, with a particular focus on financial economic crime, anti-money laundering legislation, international sanctions regulations and fraud. Neyah helps companies and boards prevent violations of laws and regulations, for instance by implementing compliance measures. Neyah also assists companies and boards in the event of a potential breach of laws and regulations, including by conducting investigations, taking remedial action and preparing for potential government enforcement. Neyah has acted as counsel in some of the most high-profile enforcement cases in the Netherlands and has broad experience in defending companies that are the subject of complex national and international investigations, both by criminal investigative and prosecutorial agencies (e.g. the FIOD and the Dutch Public Prosecution Office) and by administrative enforcement agencies (e.g. the AFM and DNB). Neyah often cooperates closely with other internal and external experts, such as internal auditors and forensic accountants. Before joining the Bar in 2012, Ruud participated in a two-year management traineeship and worked as a management consultant. Sarah has experience in most industries from energy and transport to consumer goods and financial services. She is also active in semi-public sectors including education, healthcare and life sciences. Sarah is board member of the Association for Women and Competition. Sarah is innovative and seeks solutions. She obtained the first commitment decision and first settlement decision taken by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets. On behalf of a client, she has also worked with the ACM on criteria for leniency in non-horizontal cases. She has successfully negotiated the termination of investigations without fines or formal commitments and settled cases involving international damages claims.

For many years Walter has lead the Litigation and Insurance group, which handles a wide range of sophisticated liability and insurance matters. Walter was President of the Netherlands Bar Association from 1 July 2013 until 1 January 2016.
