European & Competition Law

Maurits is a member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences team. He provides legal guidance and advice to parties who are involved in the healthcare sector and the pharma sector and has specific expertise in European and competition law.

Maurits studied Law at Utrecht University, where he also completed his Master's in Law & Economics.

During his studies, Maurits worked for a number of municipalities and gained experience in the legal profession and in the banking sector. Before joining Van Doorne, he worked for some time as a legal advisor, assisting local and regional authorities in matters of European law.
