Tina Meigh

Tina is head of Maples and Calder's Finance team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office.  She leads the Fund Finance practice and also has extensive experience in all aspects of banking, derivatives and securitisations.  Tina represents hedge funds, private equity funds and banks on fund finance and other lending transactions, bank products, deal structures and on all types of secured transactions.  She advises a large number of international associations and financial institutions on derivatives and issues surrounding related collateral packages in the context of insolvency in the Cayman Islands.  She also has significant experience of general corporate and commercial matters and the establishment of offshore investment funds.
Jonathon Meloy

Jonathon is co-head of the Asset Finance practice in the Cayman Islands and has extensive experience of international capital markets and corporate finance transactions.  He advises on all types of aircraft finance structures, with a particular focus on aircraft portfolio securitisations, large leasing platform establishments (including partnerships with fund sponsor investors), and on- and off-balance sheet commercial aircraft finance and leasing. In addition, Jonathon regularly acts on fund finance transactions (for both lenders and borrowers, including capital commitment subscription financing), as well as structured finance matters including CLOs and debt funds. Jonathon also advises on a wide range of general corporate and commercial deals, including restructurings, joint ventures and M&A transactions, and debt and equity listings on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange.

Her area of practice also includes general corporate and commercial matters, with particular emphasis on local licencing and registration.  Wanda also has experience in ship and aircraft finance and registration, licensing and equity formation, as well as local immigration, employment, trade and business and special economic zone registrations.  She has experience working with export credit agencies in Europe and Latin America, and with airlines globally in the set-up and operation of Cayman Islands special purpose vehicles to participate in the acquisition, finance and leasing of aircraft.
