Frank Grell

Frank Grell helps clients navigate distressed situations related to restructuring or insolvency. He chairs the German Restructuring & Special Situations Practice and served as Local Department Chair of the German Finance Department. Mr. Grell has earned a strong reputation from clients and leading publications for his empathetic approach and ability to craft pragmatic and commercial solutions in high-pressure or crisis situations. Cristina Weidner

Dr. Cristina Weidner is a restructuring partner in the Munich office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Cristina advises on financial and corporate restructurings, acting for sponsors, creditors and investors in turnaround situations. One focus is the advice to German companies on their financial restructurings by use of international restructuring tools, often in complex constellations with multi-layered financing structures. Cristina also advises (secured) creditors on the financial restructuring of their borrowers. She acts regularly for creditors in the context of distressed M&A transactions and German insolvency proceedings.
