Partner. Mr Finn Backer-Grøndahl works with both national and international tax law matters. He works, inter alia, on tax issues related to national and international transactions and restructurings. Mr Backer-Grøndahl heads the firm's practice area Tax and Duties.

Partner Bettina Banoun has extensive experience in work related to tax law, litigation, company law and EEA law. She is the chairman of the Tax Law Committee of the Norwegian Bar Association. Bettina Banoun is admitted to the Supreme Court and litigates regularly before Norwegian courts of justice. She also has experience in litigation before the EFTA Court and with complaints before the EFTA Surveillance Authority. Bettina Banoun has a PhD from the University of Oslo and wrote her thesis on "Tax avoidance", and she has legal training from Oxford University, University of Oslo and Harvard Law School. She is the author of several articles regarding tax law.

Mr Kristiansen advises several major Norwegian and foreign companies in connection with transactions, restructurings and general issues concerning tax, corporate and accounting law. He also assists clients in tax disputes, both at the administrative level and in Norwegian courts.

Partner Andreas Bullen's practice includes transfer pricing, international tax law, Norwegian company tax law and EEA tax law. He assists many companies in matters of transfer pricing, including the choice of corporate structure, preparation of intra-group agreements and transfer pricing documentation, appeals cases and court cases. Bullen has written a doctoral thesis (PhD) at the University of Oslo titled "Arm's length transaction structures: Recognising and restructuring controlled transactions in transfer pricing". Bullen's doctoral thesis was awarded the Mitchell B. Carroll Prize by the International Fiscal Association and the European Academic Tax Thesis Award by the European Commission and the European Association of Tax Law Professors. Bullen is also the author of the book “EU, EEA and Tax: The four freedoms and direct taxation” and several articles on national and international tax law, including EEA tax law.

Attorney-at-law/Partner Thor Leegaard is part of the corporate tax department and covers all areas of international and corporate tax law as well as European law issues connected to taxation. Thor has extensive M&A experience, and has successfully managed significant tax and transfer pricing controversies with the tax authorities. He has litigation experience both, from Norwegian courts and the EFTA Court of Justice.

Partner Nicolay Vold works mainly with tax law and company law and assists clients with legal and strategic advice and contract drafting in business transfers, mergers and demergers, and with general tax advice. Vold has extensive experience from different industries such as the insurance and real estate industry, but in recent years he has particularly worked with clients in offshore and oil services. Vold is also the author of several articles on his areas of expertise.

Kari-Ann Mosti is a VAT specialist. She also advises on other types of indirect taxes. Kari-Ann holds extensive experience from advising large and SME companies in Norway and abroad. She assists clients with VAT issues in a range of industries. She has particularly worked with real estate transactions, property development, financial services, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and cross-border transactions. She assists in audits, due diligence, correspondence with tax authorities, dispute resolution and more. Kari-Ann regularly holds training courses and has published several articles on topics involving indirect taxes.
