Dorothy is a partner and specialises in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Intellectual Property, Data Protection and Privacy. In particular she advises on IT and non-IT outsourcing agreements, development and commercialisation of new technologies, eCommerce, and the protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights. She also provides businesses with advice on a variety of general commercial agreements including supply chain agreements (for both supplier and customer), outsourcing, data processing, merchandising, publishing, distribution, agency and commercial joint ventures. Her transactional work includes advising on mergers, acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures where technology, intellectual property and data are a key part of the business. This may involve drafting agreements to license or transfer rights, conducting complex due diligence and assisting with brand strategy. Her clients operate in a wide range of sectors including technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, engineering, retail, leisure, sport and media. My clients range from early-stage businesses to multinational organisations from the UK and abroad. Taking time to thoroughly understand a client’s business and the particular challenges it faces, I provide practical and effective legal advice. Sarah is a partner and head of the Commercial & Technology team specialising in Digital & Technology. Sarah has extensive experience advising on a broad range of commercial contracts including those with an international aspect. She specialises in technology and digital media and acts for well-known online publishers. She also has experience in marketing and advertising having worked at a niche London law firm for the creative and media sectors and has advised a number of creative and digital agencies and online platforms. Sarah acts as quasi in-house counsel for a number of her clients acting either as sole legal counsel or as an extension to their legal team, providing pragmatic and commercial legal advice. Sarah is also an experienced data protection lawyer and holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/EU) certification with the IAPP.  

Elisabeth is a Partner in our Reading office, specialising in the fields of IT, data protection and commercial contracts. Elisabeth is a versatile commercial lawyer, having extensive practical experience drafting, negotiating and advising on legal issues arising in connection with a wide range of commercial projects for private, public and third sectors. She has particular experience advising on IT and data protection issues, as well as extensive commercial experience in the health sectors.  Drawing on secondments to a number of international companies, and the Commercial Directorate at the Department of Health, she has advised on significant outsourcing and procurement projects as well as a wide range of commercial business as usual contracts including software licensing; supply arrangements for goods and services; distribution and agency arrangements and public sector procurement projects. advises on IP issues for a range of public and private sector organisations.
