Mikael Magnusson

Partner Mikael is the Head of the Banking and Finance Practice Group. He primarily advises a wide range of significant clients, such as major banks and financial institutions, direct lenders/debt funds and private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers, on a wide range of domestic and cross-border debt financing matters. His practice typically has a particular focus on leveraged and acquisition finance, fund finance and capital call bridge financing, real estate finance, syndicated loans, project finance, refinancing and investment grade. Mikael also handles ESG/sustainability linked finance matters, including green loans. His key work also includes advising in relation to high yield bond offerings, super senior revolving credits, as well as securitisations and asset-backed financings. Mikael notably has extensive experience in corporate restructuring matters and work-outs acting for lenders, agents, syndicated lending groups, borrowers and private equity sponsors.
