Eivind Eliassen is part of BAHR’s OCEAN group, where he contributes with his extensive expertise in banking and finance law. Working from the strategically located BAHR office in Bergen, a city renowned for its maritime heritage and as a hub for marine and offshore industries, he supports the firm’s commitment to serving the ocean industries with diligence and expertise.

Eivind regularly assists Norwegian and international banks and financial institutions in connection with the financing of vessels, offshore installations, aircrafts, real estate, companies and other assets. He also specializes in insolvency law, and works with the handling of defaulted loans, the recovery of loan and guarantee obligations, the enforcement of collateral and the restructuring of businesses.

In recent years, Eivind has also worked extensively with sale and purchase and building contracts, charter parties, financial lease and sale/leaseback transactions, and general assistance to shipping companies both nationally and internationally.
