The renowned commercial law firm Binder Grösswang will start the 2024 business year on 1 February with a newly elected Management Board.
Changes to the Management Board
- Stefan Tiefenthaler remains a Managing Partner and will also be Spokesman of the firm.
- Florian Khol has become a Managing Partner.
- Stephan Heckenthaler is joining the Management Board.
- Andreas Hable, formerly Managing Partner and Spokesman of the firm, is leaving the Management Board.
After four years as Managing Partner and Spokesman of the firm, Andreas Hable is stepping down from the Management Board and will once again concentrate fully on his Corporate/M&A practice. His role on the Board is being taken over by Partner Stefan Tiefenthaler (Banking & Finance), who already served as a Managing Partner together with Andreas Hable over the past two years. Partner Florian Khol (Corporate/M&A) will assume the role of Managing Partner. Florian Khol was in charge of the finances of the firm for many years and was already a member of the Management Board.
“We would like to thank Andreas Hable for his outstanding work as a Managing Partner. We are seamlessly continuing the strategy project begun last year and focussing on our positioning as one of the top firms in the Austrian market – in terms of clients as well as legal talents,” says Managing Partner Stefan Tiefenthaler.
“After four successful and exciting years as Managing Partner and Spokesman of the firm, it is time for me to pass the baton. I am pleased to know that with Stefan Tiefenthaler and Florian Khol in the lead, we will continue the success story of Binder Grösswang together,” adds Partner Andreas Hable.
Stephan Heckenthaler, a partner on the Banking & Finance Team, assumes responsibility for marketing, communication and business development with immediate effect.
Stefan Albiez, a partner on the dispute resolution team, Angelika Pallwein-Prettner, a partner on the Employment Law Team, and Markus Uitz, a partner on the Real Estate Law Team, complete the six-member Management Board and are continuing their activities.
