Bernhard is a partner at CERHA HEMPEL since 2010. With almost 20 years of experience in the area of competition law, he heads the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Practice Group comprising lawyers from its office in Vienna and its CEE offices. Bernhard is renowned for his know-how in complex (Phase II) merger control proceedings and high profile cartel proceedings (especially in the mobile phone, consumer electronics, food retail, real estate, and construction sectors). He has vast experience in designing and implementing compliance management systems and in establishing national and international distribution networks with a special focus on the electronics sector. He also advises clients on damage claims that are made following competition law infringements.
