Rafael Lucas Pires is Partner of SLCM // Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins & Associados, in Lisbon. He coordinates one of SLCM’s Corporate/M&A teams, focused in domestic and cross-border transactions (inbound and outbound) and has a relevant track record in varied sectors, such as telecoms, media, energy, agriculture, food & beverage, healthcare, tourism and infrastructure.His activity is primarily focused on Mergers & Acquisitions – private acquisitions, joint-ventures, alliances and private equity. Has been engaged in high level domestic and cross-border transactions (inbound and outbound), complex restructuring deals, buyouts and takeovers. He has extensive experience in private equity and banking and finance related work. Is highly experienced in Mergers & Acquisitions, Privatizations, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets and Company Law. He also concentrates practice on corporate governance matters.
