Career

Ioanna (Rea) has joined the firm in March 2010 and specializes in banking, corporate finance and project finance (including PPP projects and infrastructure/renewable energy/real estate projects) and has advised various financial institutions (both Greek and international – including IFIs) in a number of, innovative, demanding and high value transactions in her areas of practice. During the last two years Ioanna has also advised the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund in a number of complex transactions related to the hive down and capital increases of two of the Greek systemic banks. Prior to joining the firm, she held senior positions in the Legal Division of Emporiki Bank of Greece S.A. (absorbed by Alpha Bank S.A.) and has been involved in various bank projects both in Greece and abroad, including the expansion of Emporiki Bank in Eastern Europe.

Ioanna (Rea) has been selected as one of IFLR1000’s Women Leaders for 2021.
