Massimo Merola
Partner Massimo Merola specialises in EU law (with specific focus on state aid, litigation before EU courts, including preliminary rulings, customs law, state-owned undertakings and public procurement), competition law (mergers, antitrust, abuse of dominance) and represents clients before the European Commission, national authorities and European courts. He also provides in- and out-of-court assistance, at national and European level, to governments, public authorities and blue-chip companies operating in a wide range of sectors.
He is managing partner of the Brussels office, supervisor of the EU practice and member of the Environmental Sustainability, Infrastructure, Energy & Ecological Transition, , Public International Law & Economic Diplomacy and Restructuring & Insolvency Focus Teams. He is also member of the Golden Power Task Force and the Competition Litigation Task Force.
