Career

Thomas Bugeja is a partner at Fenech & Fenech Advocates. He assists clients in various commercial and contentious matters, with a focus on cross-border commercial litigation, recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, and competition law.

Thomas provides advice to commercial clients in the retail, gaming, telecommunications, and transportation sectors on general commercial and regulatory issues. He also represents clients in the Maltese Courts and Tribunals and before the Office for Competition in merger control, antitrust matters, investigations, and litigation.

Having joined the firm in 2014, Thomas was called to the bar in 2015 after obtaining his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and Doctor of Laws (LL.D) degree from the University of Malta in 2014. He also holds an LL.M in EU Competition law from King’s College London.

Thomas is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars related to his areas of practice.
