Career

Nikos started practicing law in 2003 and over the years he has acquired significant experience in Banking and Finance and Dispute Resolution and Litigation, focusing mainly on Banking, Commercial and Civil litigation.

He has been a Partner since January 2016, continuously representing major credit institutions and insurance companies in relation to liability issues arising from investment services, distribution of complex investment products, validity of terms and conditions, as well as corporate debt collection, ranging from debt restructuring to foreclosure proceedings for the recovery of commercial loans.

Nikos among other important projects was also involved in Project Galaxy, the second largest rated NPE securitization in Europe, in the implementation in Greece of resolution measures imposed to Cyprus Popular Bank and the transfer of its Greek operations to Piraeus Bank and in significant litigation cases, such as the distribution of Lehman Brothers products and the bonds issued by the Greek State as the result of the PSI.

Niko��s practice focuses on consumer and corporate lending, other financial products and services, leasing and factoring agreements, and the restructuring of credit and loan facilities.

Nikos is defending credit institutions in all aspects of civil litigation and in particular as regards with liability issues arising from the retail business activity, such as the validity of their terms and conditions, the provision of investment services and the distribution of investment products. Furthermore, Nikos has extensive experience defending financial institutions in the context of enforced execution.
