Career

Dominique Devos is a partner within the Real Estate and Regulatory Practice Group and co-heads our Antwerp office.

He advises clients regarding Administrative Law, Public Law and Environmental Law and he is also an expert in the regulation regarding soil contamination. Dominique was several years head of the legal department of the Flemish Waste Authority (OVAM). This experience has given Dominique an excellent knowledge of waste management, soil remediation, and contaminated land. Dominique is recognised as one of the key persons behind brownfield development in Flanders.

He has an all-round experience in all aspects of environmental law (packaging, permits, water, air, waste) and focuses on soil remediation files. He also advises on several other fields of law such as climate change, circular economy, food and feed related items, such as food labelling, packaging, health claims, recalls and regulatory compliance.

Dominique holds a Master degree in Law from Ghent University (UGent 1991) and an additional degree from the Fiscale Hogeschool, EHSAL Brussel in 1992.

Dominique joined Liedekerke as a Partner in 2014.
