Erika Wies

Erika Wies has been a lawyer with Pels Rijcken since 2012. She is a specialist in the field of labor relations in the public sector. She also serves private employers. Erika has extensive experience in handling integrity issues and cases in the field of co-determination, equal treatment and employer liability. Erika is an enthusiastic lawyer and has a solution-oriented and practical approach.

Erika studied civil law at Leiden University. In 2016 she was seconded to the municipality of Rotterdam and in 2017 she completed the postgraduate course in Employment Law (Grotius) cum laude. Erika regularly teaches (in-house) courses and publishes in professional literature. She sits on the board of the Association for Civil Servants and Law (VA&R) and is a member of the Association of Labor Lawyers Netherlands (VAAN), the Association for Labor Law (VvA) and the Association of The Hague Labor Lawyers (VHAA).
