Corporate Social Responsibility
We believe that corporate social responsibility (CSR) is integral to who we are and what we do. Our approach is rooted in a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion, sustainability, and pro bono work. We aim to foster a culture that reflects the diversity of the world we live in, minimises our environmental impact, and uses our legal expertise to make a positive difference in society.
Diversity & Inclusion
As a respected international law firm, we recognise the importance of diversity and inclusion in delivering high-quality legal services. Our dedication to these principles spans years, emphasising the need for a workforce that reflects varied perspectives and experiences. We prioritise a diverse composition of teams across gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, religion, disability, and age. We foster an inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to be themselves, leveraging their unique talents, and receiving equal treatment throughout the firm.
We work closely with universities, recruitment agencies and student bodies to create opportunities for diverse talent. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is further reflected in our family-friendly policies, such as birth leave for birth-givers and their partners, and paternity coaching, promoting gender equality in both parenting and the workplace. We offer flexible work solutions to help our people balance their work with family life, while also investing heavily in their personal and professional development. Additionally, our involvement in social, cultural and scientific sponsorships underscores our responsibility to give back to the communities we serve, whether through financial contributions or by sharing our expertise via partnerships and active board memberships in various NGOs.
Pro bono
We engage in meaningful pro bono work, handling several pro bono cases every year that address fundamental rights issues, contributing to human rights, women's rights, the rule of law, democracy, and arts and culture, and strengthening civil society organisations. We collaborate with a wide range of NGOs, particularly in the human rights sector, providing legal advice and supporting strategic litigation.
These cases are handled either free of charge or at significantly reduced rates, reflecting our commitment to providing legal counsel to those who might otherwise go without. Through our pro bono efforts, we strive to uphold the principles of justice and equality, contributing to the strength and resilience of civil society.
