Career

Elisabeth’s expertise lies in individual employment law (giving legal guidance on recruitment and employment, the posting of employees, and employment of foreign workers) and collective employment law (advising on transfers of undertaking and outsourcing, assisting works councils). She also focuses on the European and corporate law aspects of employment law, as well as international employment situations. In addition, Elisabeth has a special expertise in topics situated at the intersection of labour law and administrative law, such as the occupation of employees and statutory employees in public services/utilities or half-public utilities (parastatals), and privatisations of public entities (i.e. the transfer of public properties or services to the private sector). As a sports lawyer, Elisabeth assists major sports federations with advice and litigation concerning topics such as transfer rules, discrimination issues, matchfixing and anti-doping rules. She also assists major athletes in disputes with federations, selection criteria and in many other areas of sports law.
