Mateusz is qualified legal advisor, certified compliance officer and Partner at Deloitte Legal. He specializes in traditional financial and capital markets law as well as FinTech. He advises banks, listed companies, investment fund managers, insurance companies, payment institutions, investment and lending firms, including FinTech and NewTech.

Mateusz has considerable market-recognized experience in investment products and cutting-edge capital rising tools, including investment funds, REITs, crowdfunding, ICOs/STOs and public offerings.

Mateusz participated in a number of capital markets and M&A transactions, in particular in mergers of banks listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange, consolidation of brokerage businesses within banking groups, initial and secondary public offering of banks, insurance companies and financial intermediaries.

Before joining Deloitte Legal, Mateusz worked for 3 years for finance institution from banking group, for nearly 6 years for biggest Polish law firm and for 8 years for other big-4 law firm where he co-led financial services legal team and was responsible for innovative LegalTech solutions.
