Career

Dagmar Yoder is Local Partner and Attorney of Deloitte Legal, independent law firm in the Slovak Republic. She has been working in legal advisory practices since 2000. She joined Deloitte Slovakia in 2017, and prior that she was for over a decade Partner managing the Slovak branch of the major Czech law firm. Her working experience includes also managerial position in the international bank.

She has provided complex legal advisory in relation to a number of M&A transactions (including full scope due diligence, preparation and negotiation of the financing and transaction documentation and representation in  clearance procedures at the Antimonopoly Office) and the establishment of joint venture structures for clients operating in various areas of business (in the automotive industry, real estate, energy, telecommunication equipment production, logistics, online marketing, public transportation, and manufacturing, etc.). Dagmar has essentially participated in acquisitions/sales and construction of significant development projects and has abundant experience associated with structured financing/refinancing, title insurance and commercial leases. She is also a recognized specialist in the agenda related to BTS (build-to-suit) logistic projects, having assisted a major player on the market for almost 15 years.

Dagmar has provided complex legal advisory to a number of banking and insurance institutions. She has assisted with the establishment of a foreign bank branch in Slovakia and provides advisory on performing banking services based on a banking licence issued by another Member State of the EU. She has also provided legal advisory for a major banking group on the legal aspects of creation of a shared services centre for banks from four European jurisdictions. She aided one of the largest Slovak insurance companies with a specific question related to the insurance products and its distribution and assisted a major steel company in Slovakia regarding the new credit facility loan with multiple international banking institutions. Dagmar provides training sessions for members of the Management Boards and Supervisory boards of major banks and financial institutions. She has also been advising major pharmaceutical companies on legal aspects of their business model, marketing issues, corporate restructuring, regulatory matters and various contractual relations together with complex analyses of the cost-sharing models and assistance to the clients in the categorization processes.
