Matthias is a certified lawyer in business and corporate law, partner with Deloitte Legal and member of the service line Corporate Law and Regulatory & Compliance. After his admission to the German Bar in 2004 he started working as a lecturer and as an in-house counsel with a midsize company prior to joining Deloitte Legal in 2005.
He has some sixteen years of professional experience and advises medium-sized enterprises as well as German and international companies in all matters pertaining to corporate law. Matthias is an expert related to legal advisory within official or internal investi-gations and proceedings and advises on corporate compliance, in particular compliance obligations of the board of directors, management and supervisory board as well as corporate liability issues in the context of compliance violations.
