I began my legal practice at Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa (Mexico City) in 1984, and got qualified as a lawyer in 1986, followed by a LLM degree at the University of Cambridge.  In 1993 I was invited and became the General Counsel for GE Mexico and GE Capital Mexico, and two years thereafter returned to Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa (now Hogan Lovells BSTL), to become a Partner in 1995.  After more than 20 years as a Partner in Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa (now Hogan Lovells BSTL), I decided to make a change and joined Deloitte Legal in 2017 as a Partner in the Mexico City office.
