Roel has extensive experience in financial transactions. His experience includes acquisition finance, project finance, financial restructuring, structured finance, capital market transactions (debt and equity), asset-backed finance and regulatory matters.

In several independent, international surveys, Roel has been recommended as a banking and finance expert. He frequently writes about these subjects.

Roel has been working at Van Doorne since 1988 and has been a partner since 1996. He managed the Van Doorne London office from 1998 to 2001.
