Partner. Jürg Frick is a banking and finance specialist whose main focus is on financial services and collective investment regulations, syndicated debt financing, international bond offerings, venture capital and buyout financing, real estate transactions, restructurings and insolvency law.

Career

Jürg Frick was admitted to the Swiss bar in 2000. After being legal counsel of a start-up company, he joined Homburger in 2002. From 2006 to 2008 he worked as an associate for Simpson Thacher in London, where he advised on private equity and high yield bond transactions. In 2014, he became partner at Homburger, in 2015 he was first Deputy Head of Homburger's Financial Services Team, of which he then became Head of in 2023, and is Homburger's Hiring Partner since 2020.

Education

Jürg Frick studied law at the Universities of Zurich and Neuchâtel, and in 2005 he received a Masters Degree (LLM) from the Harvard Law School. In 2009, he graduated as Dr iur from the University of Zurich with a thesis on "Private Equity under Swiss Law". In 2021, both Who's Who Legal as well as Lexology Client Choice awarded him the title "Swiss Banking Lawyer of the Year".
