Family.

William Massey is a partner at Farrer & Co and head of the family team. He has specialised in family law since 1991 and has wide experience in money and children cases on relationship breakdown with particular emphasis on complex financial situations. His cases often involve issues covering trusts, companies, tax, pensions and other jurisdictions. His background in commercial law has helped him to build a reputation as a front runner in difficult financial cases.

Freshfields 1988-91 (qualified as a corporate lawyer 1990); moved to specialise in family law, Penningtons 1991-94; Manches 1994-2005; joined Farrer & Co in October 2005.

International Academy of Family Lawyers (Vice-President European Chapter); Resolution; Law Society; Grocers Company; collaborative lawyer and member of Central London Collaborative Forum. William regularly writes and lectures in family law issues including recent presentations on international trusts and divorce and pre-marital agreements.
