BSA is a regional law firm with 9 offices across 5 countries. Our diverse team of 150 lawyers are from 35 cultural backgrounds, speaking 22 languages.  Established in 2001, we opened our first office in Dubai, soon followed by Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah – providing the firm with bases throughout the UAE. In 2006 BSA were the first local law firm to open in the DIFC, which is where our Dubai headquarters are currently situated.

Cementing BSA as a regional firm, our Beirut office opened in 2010 – the first one outside of the UAE, Muscat, Riyadh and Erbil followed.

In 2015, former Director General of the Dubai Courts, Dr Ahmed Bin Hezeem joined as Senior Partner, forming a board consisting of 6 equity partners and taking the firm in a new direction.

Flagship deals

• Advised on a first of its kind development in Musandam. Advised on the agreement with OMRAN (the Oman government’s tourism and hospitality investment arm) whereby the client would be appointed to develop certain plots in the Musandam governorate.
• Acting on behalf of Halliburton for the recovery of USD 11 Million from Oman Lasso Exploration and Production Carawan Limited and defending a counter claim of USD 16 Million filed by Oman Lasso
• Acting on behalf of Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited for recovery OMR 7 million under an EPC Contract from Ministry of Transport and Communication, Oman.
• Appointed by the client to represent them in obtaining a Dimishing Musharaka facility from Sohar Islamic, Islamic windows of Sohar Islamic Bank (“Sohar Islamic”).
