Career
Pablo, in his more than 10 years of professional career, has focused his practice on advising local, international and multinational clients on corporate and tax matters. He has concentrated his practice on matters of corporate and tax structuring of companies and business groups, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, regulatory compliance (including FATCA and CRS). He has also advised individuals and family estates, with a particular focus on tax matters, inheritance law and donations.
Mr. Flores' practice has been noted for combining domestic and international tax aspects with corporate and commercial aspects, all of the above in relation to the development of his clients' businesses and plans. In this way, legal advice is focused on providing comprehensive consulting, combining different areas of law that are essential to the decision-making process.
Since 2019, in addition to serving as a professional member of the KPMG legal tax team in Chile, Pablo has joined the KPMG legal services team in Chile (now KPMG Law), which is part of the international network of KPMG Global Legal Services, and focuses on legal consulting in corporate, commercial and M&A matters, legal due diligence, contracts, financing, implementation, incorporation of local entities, entity management, among others.
Pablo is in charge of the Trade & Customs division of KPMG in Chile and has a relevant participation in the ESG group, with a special focus on the materialization of these policies by the corporate governments of companies.
Since 2021, he is a member -representing Chile- of the KPMG Tax & Legal Leadership Council for the Americas, and since 2023 he is a member of the Legal Committee of the Chilean-British Chamber of Commerce, A.G.
Previously he worked at Morales & Besa Abogados, and at EY Chile.
