Alberto joined the Firm in 2016, at KPMG in Chile.

Between 2002 and 2012, he worked at the Chilean Internal Revenue Service as an advisory attorney in the Large Taxpayers Directorate, in the Sub-directorate of Inspection and as Head of the Direct Tax Department of the Regulatory Sub-directorate.

Between 2012 and 2014, he served as Managing Director in the Tax & Legal area of ​​KMPG Chile.

Between 2014 and 2016, he was Tax Policy Coordinator of the Chilean Ministry of Finance.

Alberto has extensive experience in the design, application and interpretation of tax legislation in Chile. He was part of the team of delegates of the Internal Revenue Service before the Committee on Fiscal Affairs of the OECD and of the negotiating group of treaties to avoid international double taxation.
