Managing Director Fieldfisher X

Dr Jan Wildhirth is a Partner for Legal Technology and Operations and leads the Fieldfisher X unit from Berlin as the Managing Director.

He has broad experience in delivering legal services at scale, including successfully operating a digital mass defence business working for major clients from the automotive and the FinTech industry.

Furthermore, he has broad legal expertise in corporate and capital markets law with a focus on founders and start-ups. He advises start-ups regarding corporate law, employee participation programs and financing rounds, and works closely with founders and represented them in exit negotiations. In the last year, he worked mainly with crypto start-ups advising them on their product, corporate structure and regulatory framework.

Furthermore, he worked as a Corporate & Capital Markets Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hamburg. Afterwards he moved to an operational role at Axel Springer SE, where he set up the digital consulting company Axel Springer hy, as Chief Operating Officer. In 2019, he founded the legal tech start-up eagle lsp, which primarily supports companies in defending against large mass proceedings.

He advises his clients in German and English.

After graduating from Bucerius Law School and Boston College Law School, he earned his doctorate in Capital Markets law. During his legal training, he worked for leading international law firms in Berlin, London and Tokio.
