Matthias Jungeblut, LL.M. (Potsdam) is a Senior Associate in Fieldfisher´s Frankfurt am Main office and advises on Tax Law.

His area of practice includes corporate tax matters and international tax issues. He advises our national and international clients in particular on tax issues related to tax-optimised restructurings, the reorganisation of corporate groups and real estate transactions.

In addition, he advises on the taxation of cryptocurrencies, investment tax law and represents our clients in tax audits and tax disputes.

Prior to joining Fieldfisher, he was a lawyer with a large accounting firm and international commercial law firms.

He advises our clients in German and English.

He studied law at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg and subsequently completed his legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal. During his legal clerkship, he worked for the Finance Committee of the German Bundestag and the Federal Ministry of Finance, among others. He was awarded the title of Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate and Tax Law by the University of Potsdam.

He was admitted to the bar in 2018.
