Dr Jörn Peters is a Senior Associate in Fieldfisher´s Dusseldorf office and advises on intellectual property matters.

A particular focus of his advice is in the area of Patent Law and the protection of know-how.

In addition, he advises on various aspects of technical property rights and Employee Invention Law in corporate transactions.

Our team was named as a top law firm for patent law by Wirtschaftswoche in 2021 In 2020, we were awarded by Managing Intellectual Property as part of the Cross-border Telecoms Patent Team

Prior to joining Fieldfisher, he worked for an international commercial law firm and a specialised intellectual property law firm.

He advises our clients in German and English.

He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).

After his studies at the Universities of Bayreuth and Birmingham (UK), he completed his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Dusseldorf, including at an international commercial law firm. He was awarded a doctorate from the University of Bayreuth in autumn 2015 on the topic of "Intellectual Property in Corporate Transactions".
