Position

Marie-Claire Waldmann is an Associate in Fieldfisher's Munich office and advises on Media and Entertainment.

Our clients include national and international companies from the media and entertainment industry. A particular focus of her work is the conduct of contentious proceedings, especially on copyright issues such as fair remuneration and “bestseller remuneration” as well as corresponding claims for information and transparency obligations. She also provides support in the negotiation of joint remuneration rules.

In addition, she advises our clients on all legal issues along the audiovisual value chain - from development to exploitation.

She advises our clients in German and English.

Memberships

She is a member of the German Association of Women Lawyers (Deutscher Juristinnenbund e.V.).

Education

Marie-Claire Waldmann studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin and at the LUISS Guido Carli in Rome.

She completed her legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, with stages at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, in a major international law firm in the field of IP law and in the legal department of a globally renowned media company.
