Having joined VdA in 2005, Sofia Barata is Of Counsel and head of practice of the Corporate Services Unit. With a vast track record in M&A, she worked in numerous domestic and international transactions over the years, notably mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, acquisition and corporate finance deals.The combination of years of experience in the day-to-day support of clients across industries and a perfect command of the new technological tools of AI and process automation procedures, gives Sofia the skill sets required to develop and optimize new cross-practice products and services within VdA, resorting to the consistent adoption of technological procedures.
