Career

Christophe Pelèse is a Partner and Trademark and Design Attorney at Plasseraud IP. His activity is mainly devoted to trademark and design rights. He works on behalf of various French and foreign companies and institutions, mainly in the luxury goods sector, for several large wine and spirits groups, pharmaceuticals and optical industries. Christophe assists and advises his clients in the establishment and monitoring of their strategies for the protection and defense of their intellectual property rights, in France and worldwide. He has extensive experience in complex negotiations and litigation in the United States and Russia. He has successfully taken part in numerous proceedings before the courts of these countries and intervened directly in the resolution of commercial disputes with the Russian administration. Christophe is president of the "Trademarks & Geographical Indications" committee of the CNCPI. In 2022, he was named Chevalier de l'Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne. Prior to joining Plasseraud IP, he practiced in several IP law firms in France and Canada where he studied law (McGill University). Christophe joined EGYP, a Plasseraud IP Group company,  in 2000.
