Career

Johannes mainly advises construction project developers as well as private clients and public contracting authorities on construction projects throughout the entire project management, both in the tendering phase and project implementation as well as in the settlement and warranty period.

The focus of his work is the drafting and negotiation of contracts as well as the enforcement and defence of claims, including litigation. He represents his clients in disputes with other parties involved in construction in the context of out-of-court dispute resolution and has particular experience in conducting complex construction and architectural litigation before the courts and arbitration tribunals.

Johannes' clients include construction project developers, cities and municipalities, clinics, school cooperatives as well as private and public companies, primarily in plant construction. Johannes has, for example, advised on the refurbishment and revitalization of old administrative buildings for future use as hotels and commercial offices, the construction of high-tech facilities, amongst others in the field of environmental technology, hospital and clinic buildings, public buildings (schools and youth hostels) as well as civil engineering underground and road construction projects.

He regularly appears as a speaker at lecture events.

Johannes studied and received his doctoral degree in law from Julius-Maximilians-Universität in Würzburg. He has been a specialist lawyer for construction and architectural law since 2017.
