Azeezah is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate, Securities & Finance Practice Group. This practice group is involved in general corporate law practice, mergers and acquisition, taxation, telecommunications, capital markets, project finance & corporate finance.  Her core practice areas are Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Restructurings, Taxation, General Corporate Law and Competition Law; in all of which she has garnered over 15 years of hands-on experience.

Chinedum Umeche is a seasoned dispute resolution expert, with years of experience handling commercial litigation and arbitration matters for a wide spectrum of domestic and international clients across several industries including energy, financial services, FMCG and telecommunications. He joined the firm’s Litigation, Arbitration & ADR Practice Group in 2010 and rose through the ranks to become a Senior Associate in 2016. He was later appointed Team Leader in January 2017, a position he retained until his admission into partnership.

Isa Alade is a partner at Banwo & Ighodalo with fifteen (15) years of experience in providing legal advice to corporate organisations and private equity firms. He obtained his LL.B and LL.M degrees from the University of Lagos and was admitted into the Nigerian Bar in 2005.  He is an alumnus of the International Law Institute – Washington (ILI) and the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.His core areas of practice are Banking and Finance, Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets and FinTech.

Seyi Bella is a partner at Banwo & Ighodalo with fourteen (14) years of experience.  Her core areas of practice are Banking and Finance, Project Finance, Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions and Fintech.

Stella is a Partner in Banwo &Ighodalo (B&I)’s Energy & Natural Resources Practice Group. She obtained her law degree from the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in January 2001; she joined B&I shortly afterwards and was admitted into the firm’s partnership in 2012. She is a consummate professional with excellent mastery of the entire value chain of energy projects and almost twenty (20) years of cognate experience advising on a broad range of transactions including Power, Infrastructure, Project Finance, Oil & Gas, Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Commercial transactions within the energy sector.

Toyin Bashir is a partner with Banwo & Ighodalo. She obtained her law degree from the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in January, 2001. She joined Banwo & Ighodalo in November 2005 and was admitted to the Firm’s partnership in January 2017.
