Many of our transactions have a cross-border dimension, and several of our lawyers have gained their experience abroad.

Employment: We advise employers on the full range of employment and labour law matters, from day-to-day HR issues to dispute resolution, reorganisations, and litigation. We also assist with matters involving transfer of undertakings, non-compete clauses, expat contracts, and pensions.

Entertainment:Our Entertainment team offers specialised legal and commercial advice to Norwegian and international clients in the music, film/TV, theatre, gaming, sports, advertising, and live event industries. We collaborate closely with international organisations and frequently handle cross-border matters.

Intellectual property: We offer broad expertise across IPR and commercial law, including copyright, trademarks, design, marketing law, contracts, and entertainment law. Our team is highly experienced in IPR litigation and manages trademark and design portfolios for a wide range of domestic and international clients, including prosecution and enforcement before the Norwegian Industrial Property Office.

Real estate/commercial property: Our real estate team is among the largest in Norway and advises on all aspects of commercial property law. We are organised into specialised groups covering transactions and leases, construction, and real estate development (including planning law). We assist both Norwegian and international clients with acquisitions, leasing, and ongoing property management.

Restructuring and insolvency: Ræder Bing is one of Norway’s most experienced firms in restructuring and insolvency. We advise companies in financial distress, taking a holistic approach that considers both commercial and personal aspects. Our team assists with all stages of financial and operational restructuring and is often appointed as bankruptcy trustees or chairs of debt settlement committees. Marine – shipping and insurance: Ræder Bing is one of the leading maritime firms in Norway and the market leader in cargo-related matters. The practice has extensive expertise handling recovery claims, recourse actions and general maritime and insurance cases. The practice also has extensive experience in maritime litigation and dispute resolution. Legal advice on sale and purchase, sale leasebacks, financing of vessels, newbuilding, construction and conversion contracts, registration and delivery of vessels and charter parties are also strong practice areas.

Tax: Our experienced tax team advises businesses, organisations, and individuals on a full range of domestic and international tax matters. Our services include tax planning, compliance, dispute resolution, and assistance with audits. We provide strategic advice on transactions, restructuring, generation changes, EEA matters, transfer pricing, permanent establishment, and relocation of tax residency.
