H starts the year 2024 with new partner Christian Jöllinger
With the start of the new year, E+H is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Christian Jöllinger as partner. With his extensive experience across many industries advising on complex transactions, and his regulatory expertise, Dr. Jöllinger will be a valuable member of our firm. He will work in the Banking + Finance, Restructuring + Insolvency, and Capital Markets practice groups.
Christian Jöllinger brings wide-ranging expertise in the needs of banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, and businesses, in particular in structured finance, securitizations, portfolio transactions, bank loans, regulatory law, and financial sanctions. This significantly enhances E+H's skill set.
He also specializes in regulatory capital instruments, credit risk mitigation techniques, securities law (with a particular focus on mortgage bonds and custody law), derivative financial instruments, and insolvency law.
Before joining E+H, Jöllinger worked at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the Global Transactions / Banking Law and Financing department from 2010 to 2023.
Dr. Jöllinger studied law in Vienna (Dr. iur.) and Edinburgh (LL.M.) and was admitted to the Austrian Bar in 2014.
