Alric Ofenheimer

Alric A. Ofenheimer is head of the Real Estate practice group and co-head of the Corporate + M&A practice group. He is an internationally recognized specialist in private and real-estate-related mergers and acquisitions. He regularly represents Austrian and foreign clients in corporate transactions in Austria and abroad. He regularly advises financial institutions, manufacturing companies, media companies, and IT companies. Alric Ofenheimer represents public and private companies, including multinational corporations, funds, family-owned companies, financial institutions, and medium-sized companies. Alric Ofenheimer has extensive experience in joint ventures for the development of urban neighborhoods and large-scale real estate. Furthermore, he has been involved with legal tech tools for several years, co-founded the Legal Tech Hub Europe, and leads E+H’s digitalization group.

Christian Jöllinger

Dr. Christian Jöllinger is a partner in the Banking + Finance, Restructuring + Insolvency, and Capital Markets practice groups. He advises banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, and companies on securitizations, structured finance, portfolio transactions, bank loans, regulatory law, and financial sanctions. Dieter Thalhammer

Dieter Thalhammer is head of the Competition and Antitrust Law practice group. Nationally, he is one of the leading experts for European and Austrian antitrust law. Dieter Thalhammer represents domestic and international clients in proceedings for merger control, cartel allegations, abuse of a dominant position, and damages following antitrust violations. He also has extensive experience in conducting internal investigations and implementing antitrust compliance programs. Under his leadership, the Competition and Antitrust practice group at E+H has become one of the strongest in Austria. Over the past ten years, Dieter Thalhammer has represented clients in various industries including transport, automotive, media, energy, postal, telecommunications, chemical, real estate, finance, healthcare, food, and electronics. Dieter Thalhammer also has specific expertise in antitrust issues in the digital economy.

Jana Eichmeyer

Jana Eichmeyer heads the Employment Law and Dispute Resolution practice groups. She advises and represents clients in contentious proceedings, settlement discussions, and in all aspects of labor and social security law. Her expertise is particularly sought after in restructuring measures, executive employment contracts, works constitution matters, and all issues of employment and civil litigation. She also advises clients during due diligence and transfers of business. She regularly lectures on civil and employment law topics, including at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, and has authored numerous publications on employment law.

Jochen Anweiler heads the firm’s Brussels office. He advises clients in investigations by, and represents clients in merger control proceedings before, the European Commission and the Austrian competition authorities. He coordinates leniency applications and merger notifications in several jurisdictions, and advises on state aid law (including in connection with company divestitures by public authorities).

Tatjana Katalan

Tatjana Katalan (née Dworak) is co-head of the Public Law practice group and specializes in environmental and sustainability law. She primarily advises on large-scale projects, in particular in the field of renewables. She is a recognized expert in regulatory and administrative law concerning Environmental Impact Assessment proceedings (UVP-G), water, nature conservation, construction, regional planning, regulated trades, and forestry. In addition, she advises on proceedings under the Mineral Resources Act and under hospital and pharmacy law. She is a certified CSR and sustainability officer and supports companies, public corporations, and municipalities in the legal and strategic introduction of sustainability criteria and the implementation of sustainability measures (CSR, SDG, ESG). When advising public corporations, she also attaches particular importance to introducing, implementing, and maintaining compliance guidelines. She regularly gives lectures and is a permanent speaker for the Austrian Real Estate Association and for the Lawyers’ Academy. She also serves on the management board of “Forum Naturschutz und Wirtschaft Kärnten,” an organization for sustainable management.

Ulrike Sehrschön

Ulrike Sehrschön is head of the Public Procurement practice group and co-head of the Public Law practice group at E+H. She advises on regulatory issues, including commercial and facilities law, energy law, data protection law, pharmaceutical and health law, and banking and capital markets law. In the field of public procurement law, she provides legal expertise to public clients in the actual implementation of procurement projects. She advises bidders participating in public tenders and represents them in procurement control proceedings.
