Aarthi has a broad financing practice with particular experience in acquisition and leverage financing (including senior, mezzanine and subordinated debt), preference share funding, property finance and non-bank lending. She also has developed specialist expertise in the equity capital markets and public and private mergers and acquisitions sectors. Aarthi advises major banks, financial institutions, private equity firms as well as major borrowers, in complex financing transactions. Aarthi’s practice almost invariably involves cross-border issues and she has been involved in a number of high profile multi-jurisdictional finance transactions.

Aarthi holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and Certificates in Advanced Company Law I and Advanced Company Law II from the University of the
