Business tax services: Corporate tax advisory services throughout every stage of the tax life cycle, helping clients in the definition of their tax policies and tax strategies. The team includes a group that specializes in local and environmental taxation and a “Quantitative Services” team focused on the rendering of advice to companies on determining, reporting and managing their tax attributes using quantitative analyses and modeling to help them generate cash saving, focusing on innovation and capital incentives and tax credits.

Private client services: Team focused on compliance and business tax services associated with supporting the ownership, management and preservation of privately-owned businesses and wealth. These include personal and family tax advice, business tax advice, structuring, compliance and reporting, family and business governance, wealth transfer and succession planning, asset protection and family office advisory as well as related support services.

Tax controversy / litigation: One of the biggest teams in the market, with a deep knowledge of the general aspects of tax litigation as well as in specialized sectors of local taxation, EU controversy or energy and environmental taxation. The practice operates in three main technical segments: (i) pre-litigation activity such as settlement procedures, negotiations with Spanish Tax Authorities, (ii) litigation activities before Tax Courts, (iii) requests of rulings to solve technical problems by knowing the position of Spanish Tax Authorities before the implementation of a transaction.

Indirect tax: The team helps companies on addressing issues related to VAT and other indirect taxes, including custom and excise duties, locally and internationally. The team includes specialists in customs duties and special taxes.

Financial tax services: Tailor-made services to all type of financial organizations within the banking, insurance and wealth and asset management business.

Global compliance and reporting: The team has a deep knowledge on addressing key elements of a company’s finance and tax processes for preparing statutory financial and tax filings and outsourcing of services.

Tax technology and transformation: TTT is the architect of the connected intelligent tax function where we deliver tax technology and transformation services designed to improve the operational effectiveness of the client tax function and the efficient delivery of EY tax technical services.
