After graduating, Julius Ecker was a university assistant at the Institute for Civil Law (with Univ.-Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Kerschner) and at the Institute for Environmental Law (with Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Erika Wagner) of the Johannes Kepler University Linz. During this time, he also completed the master’s program in Medical Law at the University of Innsbruck and wrote his multiple award-winning dissertation on the interface between civil neighbor law and housing law.

Julius Ecker has been an attorney at Haslinger / Nagele since October 2022. He focuses on banking law and civil law, and regularly works at the interface with public law and in all areas of private environmental law. He also has extensive expertise in shareholder disputes.

In addition to his broad publication and lecture activities on civil law, environmental law and medical law, among others, Julius Ecker continues to serve as a lecturer at Johannes Kepler University Linz.
