After finishing his mandatory year of legal clerkship, Johannes Hartlieb joined Haslinger / Nagele’s Competition, State Aid and Procurement Law Department as an associate in 2017. Before that, he had worked as a research assistant at the Institute of European and International Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and had written a dissertation on the principle of proportionality in competition law. He gained further practical knowledge while working for Peter Thyri Competition Counseling & Research.

Besides his occupation at Haslinger / Nagele, Johannes Hartlieb teaches European law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and regularly writes essays for renowned legal journals.
