After completing his studies in law at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, René Haumer worked for the university’s Institute of Criminal Law as an assistant to Prof. Kienapfel for several years. Since 2007, he has been an Attorney at law and Partner. René Haumer’s practice mainly focuses on white collar crime matters, criminal law on corruption, financial criminal law, business criminal law, internal investigations & compliance and administrative criminal law.

In addition to his work as a qualified lawyer, René Haumer is a lecturer of white-collar criminal law at the Johannes Kepler University Linz.

Besides his work at Haslinger / Nagele, René Haumer is a member of the criminal law commission, the working group on criminal law of the Austrian Bar Association, secretary general of the Austrian association of criminal defence lawyers and Attorney of the Upper Austrian Bar Association.
