After his law studies, Dietmar Lux worked as a university assistant at the Institute of Civil Law, in the team of Prof. Rummel, at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. He was admitted to the bar and became partner at Haslinger / Nagele in 1998. His main areas of practice are contract and company law with a focus on banking law and arbitration. Banks and industry rely on his experience with representation in class action and similar procedures.

After his move from academia to advocacy, Dietmar Lux maintained a close relationship with the Johannes Kepler University Linz, where he lectures in civil and company law. In addition to his work as attorney-at-law at Haslinger / Nagele, Dietmar Lux authored numerous publications in these areas of law. Inter alia, Dietmar Lux in collaboration with Norbert Nagele, commented the chapters “Amendment of the Statute” and “Corporate Actions” in the renowned Manz commentary on the Stock Corporation Act (Aktiengesetz), edited by Prof. Artmann and Prof. Karollus.
