Laura Viechtbauer has been an attorney at Haslinger / Nagele since October 2023. Her practice focuses on criminal law, financial, commercial and administrative criminal law, as well as internal investigations. In these areas of law, she represents both companies and individuals. In addition, she is active in the legal fields of compliance and litigation, which are closely related to criminal law. Laura Viechtbauer regularly publishes in the field of criminal law in relevant professional media and is a member of Paragraphinnen and the Association of Austrian Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Laura Viechtbauer studied law at the University of Vienna and, before joining Haslinger / Nagele, already gained valuable professional experience in an internationally operating transport company, where she was mainly active in the field of data protection, as well as in two renowned law firms. In April 2020, she joined Haslinger / Nagele’s criminal defense and white collar criminal law team and passed her bar exam in 2022 with very good results. In addition to her work as a lawyer, she is involved in local politics and is actively involved in the Committee for Building and Regional Planning in her home municipality of Altmünster am Traunsee.
