Position

Anca Diaconu has significant professional experience in competition, state aid and EU Law matters and acts as Head of NNDKP's Competition, State Aid and EU Law practice. She combines robust academic background with practical experience in high profiles cases. Anca focuses on all aspects of EU and Romanian competition law, including merger clearance, cartels and abuse of dominance cases. She also advises regularly on complex state aid matters and assists high-profile clients with FDI filings. On top of her expertise in transactions and compliance measures, she has a significant track record in competition litigation before national courts, including private damages.

Education

Anca Diaconu graduated from the University of Bucharest Law School in 2014. She has a Law Degree (Maitrise en Droit, Droit Européen) from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, Collège Juridique Franco-Roumain d’Etudes Européennes. She also holds a master's degree in International and European Business Law from the same institution.
